A new branch of Book City was inaugurated at Tandis Complex in Tajrish Square, Tehran, in collaboration with Beethoven Music Center last month.
It is Book City’s first tie-up with Beethoven, Tehran’s oldest music center (founded in 1953 by Chamanara brothers), Honaronline reported.
The opening ceremony was attended by Book City manager, Jahanbakhsh Assar, head of the music center, Babak Chamanara, scholar, author and lecturer on literature and art, Dr. Elahi-Ghomshei, poet and writer, Yaghma Golrouee and other art and cultural personalities.
Given the location of the new branch, it has the potential to draw a huge number of visitors, Assar said.
Book City has several branches all over Tehran, providing cultural and intellectual content through Persian and foreign language books, CD’s, handicrafts and toys.
