The Iranian percussion band ‘Knock the Time’ will perform at Delhi International Arts Festival (DIAF), India’s signature art event, November 10-25.
On two consecutive days, Nov. 11 and 12, Knock the Time will perform rhythmic pieces playing various percussion instruments accompanied by santur.
The pieces to be covered are Majnoun (crazy), Chehel Zarbi (40 beats), Basteh Bal (tied wings), Zard (yellow) and Pajhmordeh (withered) among others, Honaronline reported.
Band members are Navid Tavassoli, Hesam Azimi, Milad Qoreyshi, Sina Ghaffari and Hamid Qanbari.
DIAF is the longest multi arts, multi venue cultural festival in India. Over 50 venues will come alive during the event with world class artists performing alongside special segments created for the youth and children.
