A collection of fascinating artworks by prominent artists is on sale at the newly founded Arthibition Art Gallery in Tehran, May 11-21.
In collaboration with other galleries and art collectors, Arthibition is auctioning works of more than 50 artists, Honaronline reported.
Works of accomplished artists including painter and calligrapher Mohammad Ehsai (79), contemporary painter Farideh Lashai (1944-2013), avant-garde sculptor and painter Jazeh Tabatabai (1931-2008), modernist painter Hannibal Alkhas (1930-2010), and traditional painter of Saghakhaneh School of Art Nasser Ovissi (74) are among the collection.
“The exhibition includes paintings in different techniques and sizes”, the curator Hossein Mohseni said.
It is a presentation of art treasures from various galleries in Tehran including Shalman, Shams, Vista, Mah-e Mehr and Elahe.
In the past Arthibition Art Gallery has presented modern artworks for bidders online on its website, now it aims to continue the process in its newly opened building. In the current sale, those interested should be present at the gallery to purchase the artworks. The gallery is located at No 6, Darya St., Nasseri St., Kousha St., Shariati St.
