Business Permits Issued by Industries Ministry in Seven Months

A total of 338,836 business permits were issued by the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade during the current Iranian year’s first seven months (March 21-Oct. 22), registering a 0.4% growth compared with the similar period of last year, latest figures released by the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade show. 

About 41,528 permits were issued during the seventh Iranian month (Sept. 23-Oct. 22), registering a 40.4% decline month-on-month.

Topping the list of provinces with the highest number of business permits during the seven months are Tehran with 43,427, Khorasan Razavi with 28,641, Isfahan with 26,213, Mazandaran with 21,686 and Fars with 17,459.

Tehran also topped the list with the highest number of permits during the seventh Iranian month with 4,626 permits. It was followed by Khorasan Razavi with 3,389, Isfahan with 2,899, Mazandaran with 2,408 and Fars with 2,241 permits.

The number of permits stood at 665,607 in the last Iranian year (March 2020-21), indicating a 58% growth compared with the previous year.

The number of e-trust permits issued in the seven-month period registered a 8.08% increase to reach 19,695. 

E-trust permits issued in the seventh fiscal month stood at 3,143 to register a 0.1% increase month-on-month.

In the last Iranian year, these permits increased by a whopping 150.8% to 33,044.

Receiving an e-trust symbol from the Industries Ministry is one of the key factors in developing e-commerce, building trust and confidence for users of electronic services. An e-trust symbol is displayed as a mark on top of sites that are legally permitted to provide such services.
