An Iranian exhibition opened in Erbil on Dec. 21 in a ceremony attended by the Iraqi Kurdistan Region’s Minister of Trade and Industries Kamal Muslim Saeed; Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources Begard Dilshad Shukralla; Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw; Iranian envoy to Baghdad, Iraj Masjedi; Iran’s Consul in Erbil Nasrollah Rashnoudi; director general of the Trade Promotion Organization’s Arab and African Affairs Bureau, Farzad Piltan; and other trade and industry officials from the two sides.
“About 120 Iranian businesses are showcasing their latest products and services in the fields of food industries, pharmaceuticals, hand-woven and machine-made carpets, flooring, home appliances, industrial machinery and electronic devices,” Piltan was quoted as saying by Mizan Online.
The event will conclude on Dec. 25.
