Open Source Trio

Niavaran Cultural Center in north Tehran will host two concerts by ‘Open Source Trio’ a famous trio of international musicians November 30 and December 1 at 8:30 pm.

Band members who will perform are Klaus Gesing, 49, German player of bass clarinet and soprano saxophone; Bjorn Meyer, 52, Swedish electric bass guitarist; and Samuel Rohrer, 40, Swiss percussionist, according to Tiwall.com where tickets are available. They are modernizing the standard setup of the jazz trio. The band’s compositions combine various styles like jazz, classical, electronic and a touch of Bulgarian folklore. The event will be held at the Persian Gulf Auditorium of Niavaran Cultural Center located at the northern end of Pasdaran Street, across Niavaran Park.
