The exhibition ‘The Garden Is My Skin,’ displaying paintings and installation arts by painter, filmmaker, film production designer and curator Shahram Karimi, 60, has opened in the German city Troisdorf.
Karimi lives and works in Berlin and New York. His current solo exhibit is being hosted by the art gallery Kunsthaus Troisdorf, Tandis magazine of visual art (tandismag.com) reported.
The event opened December 1 and will run through December 17. On display are a colorful series of modern artworks of bold combinations of Iranian artistic traditions with western techniques.
