An exhibition of paintings and semiprecious stones by jeweler and painter Kimia Fouladfar is underway at Master Gholami Art Gallery of Hafez Hall in Shiraz, Fars Province. Featuring nine surrealistic oil paintings and 19 cut semiprecious stones, the exhibit is named ‘Kimia’ after the artist’s name which means medieval science of alchemy. The three-day event opened December 11 and will conclude on December 13. Visiting hours are from 10am to 6pm, Honaronline reported. Fouladfar says her paintings are based on her own free imaginations. “The paintings were created without planning or adherence to any specific style or school.”
The agates are in seven colors, namely white, grey, black, yellow, red, green and blue.
