Innovative and prolific calligrapher Ghaffar Qanbarpour, 36, is displaying his latest works at Atashzad Art Gallery.
The solo exhibit is titled ‘Line and Sign’ (in Persian: Khat-o-Neshan – khat means line and script; neshan means sign). It is a Persian expression about setting rules and limits. On display are a series of calligraphies and calligraphic paintings, Tiwall.com reported.
The exhibit opened December 15 and will last for a week. Visiting hours are 5 to 9pm. The venue is located at No. 23, North Tavanir Street, corner of Houman Alley.
