Shahrzad Theater Complex is hosting the play ‘The Tale of a Tiger’ written by Italian actor-playwright Dario Fo.
It is a dramatic monologue by a wounded revolutionary soldier whose comrades have abandoned him. He suffers from gangrene and thinks death is near. He drags himself into a cave and falls into a deep sleep. When he awakes, he is confronted by the sight of a female tiger and her cub. What follows is a comic narrative about their domestic life together.
According to Tiwall.com, Sadr al-Din Zahed directs and performs this one-actor piece.
The venue, at the intersection of Neauphle-le-Chateau and Razi streets, will show the play till February 23.
