Muscle Dysmorphia

Young sculptor, painter, sketch artist and character designer Ehsan Arjmand has put on display a series of paintings and drawings at a solo exhibition titled ‘Bigorexia.’

The exhibition shows Arjmand’s mastery in anatomical drawing and painting, according to Tiwall.com.

The event, hosted by Dena Art Gallery, is the result of his reflections on bigorexia or muscle dysmorphia, a delusional or exaggerated belief that one’s own body is too small, too skinny or insufficiently muscular, although in most cases, the individual’s build is normal.

The exhibit will run through February 21. Dena Gallery is located at No. 4, Sousan Alley, Qarani Street, near Taleqani intersection.
