Photographer Yasmin Ashkboos will hold a solo exhibit of her works to support the quake-stricken children of Kermanshah Province.
“The photo collection indeed is a very small gift to the quake-stricken children of Kermanshah who will get the proceeds from the exhibition,” Ashkboos said.
The western province of Kermanshah and the bordering regions were jolted by a 7.3 quake last November. It killed 500 people, wounded thousands and displaced several thousand others.
Titled ‘Something Like a Dream,’ the exhibit is slated for March 2-16 at e1 Gallery located at No. 1, Hamid Dead-end, Lesani Street, Elahieh neighborhood, according to Galleryinfo.ir.
“Something Like a Dream is a collection of photos which seem to have been taken in a dream. Horses are the main subject of the works. They are depicted in an excited motion with a technique that makes the works almost similar to paintings,” says a note for the exhibit.
