Arasbaran Choir & Orchestra to Perform

Chamber Orchestra and Choir of Arasbaran Cultural Center will perform on Thursday and Friday with classical, baroque and Iranian pieces. The performance will be conducted by Iranian-Armenian composer and pianist Serjik Mirzaian, 46. He has composed some 90 pieces for Arasbaran Choir and been conducting the ensemble since 2007. A number of his compositions will be featured in the program. Besides his own pieces, the repertoire includes compositions by Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), German composer George Friedrich Handel (1685-1759) and Iranian composer, author and translator Samin Baghcheban (1925-2008).
