Five Iranian short films will be shown at the 42nd Annual Atlanta Film Festival, April 12-April 22, in Atlanta, state of Georgia in the US.

Ghasemi’s 16-minute film ‘Lunch Time’ is the story of a 16-year-old girl who has come to hospital to identify the body of her mother, but is not allowed to enter the morgue because she is underage.

The 6-minute puppet film ‘To Be’ brilliantly depicts a part of human society seeking a place to live.

‘Highlight’ (23 minutes) shows three women spending an afternoon in a beauty parlor in Tehran and talking about their lives.  In ‘White House’ (20 minutes) a religious leader goes to work in a remote village searching for his identity.‘Retouch’ revolves around Maryam’s husband who has an accident at home and, rather than saving him, she watches him die.

This year, the festival will host the world premiere of seven feature-length films and more than 50 short films during the ten-day program.
