Queer Love Story

Molavi Hall is currently staging one of Shakespeare’s comedies ‘Twelfth Night’. The play will continue until  May 2. 

It is a comedy about a cross-dressing, ship-wreck surviving, poetry-loving girl who finds herself at the center of a love triangle.

After a shipwreck, Viola and Sebastian, twins, are separated. Reaching the beach, Viola disguises as a man named Cesario to protect herself. She falls in love with Duke Orsino, who in turn is in love with the Countess Olivia. Upon meeting Viola, Countess Olivia falls in love with her thinking she is a man.

Armin and Paniz Khosh-Nik, Arash Rasekh, Shahab Nezam-Doust, Iman Khakbaz and Mina Zagheri perform the play that is directed by Mohsen Sadeqi-Esfahani, Tiwall wrote.
