An exhibition of artworks by Hamid Nour-Keyhani is underway at Sayeh Art Gallery.
The 71-year-old artist, an architect by profession, has put on show five collections of his artworks, consisting of sculptures and paintings, Galleryinfo.ir wrote.
Nour-Keyhani graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran. In 1968, he began his career in the architecture studio of internationally renowned architect and artist Kamran Diba.
Architecture was his preoccupation for 40 years and only after 2010 he has been able to spend time developing his painting skills.
Still true to his architectural roots, in his artworks Nour-Keyhani takes inspiration from designs he has made through the years, transforming them into abstract and colorful compositions.
The artworks will remain on display through August 1. The Gallery is located at No. 21, 13th Alley, Sanai Street, Karimkhan Avenue.
