Filmmaker and film editor Pouya Parsa-Maqam’s solo exhibition is underway at Dastan Gallery until August 10. Titled “On the Pictures” the exhibition includes photography, video art and painting. The artist has painted on negatives. The outcome looks like frames of a movie and each shot conveys a different story, Honaronline reported on its Persian website. Parsa-Maqam, 36, has so far held several solo and group exhibitions, directed six short films, three documentaries and collaborated in making some feature films. The venue is located at No. 6, Bidar St., Fereshteh Street.
