The volume of water in Tehran dams which currently stands at 384 million cubic meters shows a shortfall of 41 million cubic meters compared to the same period last year despite the precipitation in recent days; therefore the Tehran Regional Water Company has urged people in Tehran and Alborz Provinces to continue to conserve water through judicious use and prevention of wastage, Alef news agency reported.
