South Africa’s trade balance‚ which includes trade with Botswana‚ Lesotho‚ Namibia and Swaziland‚ recorded a rand 16.3b ($1.4b) deficit in August after a revised R6.824b (R6.884b) deficit in July‚ South African Revenue Service customs and excise data showed on Tuesday, BDLive reported. The trade deficit excluding Botswana‚ Lesotho‚ Namibia and Swaziland was R23.9b.
